Art for Advocacy Exhibition, A Project of Save the Children

This art project aims to educate, inspire and empower children by allowing them to express what they want to say about issues that have relevance in their lives. The exhibition will continue until Friday, 12 March 2010 where opening hours will be from 9.00 AM - 5.00 PM at the Margot Hardy Gallery, Foyer of Building 23, UWS Bankstown. UWS Women of the West Awards

The University of Western Sydney's (UWS) honours women in Greater Western Sydney and formally recognises their contribution to the development of the region. Now in its sixth year, the Award continues to grow and succeeds in showcasing the diversity and strength of women in Greater Western Sydney.... Read more.

Singapore Alumni Dinner

The 2010 Singapore Alumni dinner is invitation only and will be held on Tuesday March 16, 2010 with registration beginning at 6.30 PM and dinner to commence at 7.15 PM at Padang Palace Restaurant, 2nd Level Singapore Recreation Club B, Connaught Drive, Singapore.

Only guests with an official ticket will be granted entry on the night. All UWS Singapore Alumni are welcome, however, attendance must be registered via the following RSVP. Please remember to RSVP by Monday March 8, 2010.

This postgraduate masterclass is based on Kamuf's article of the same name (Textual Practice 21.2 (2007) and will be held on Wednesday 17 March at 1.00 PM at UWS Bankstown, Building 1, Room 1.1.117. RSVP is essential.

This is a public lecture and companion piece to "Accounterability". It will be held on Friday 19 March 2010 from 6.00 PM onwards at Sydney Grammar School, Edmund Barton Room (College Street Darlinghurst). RSVP is essential.

UWS Mental Wellbeing Conference 2010

The inaugural UWS Mental Wellbeing Conference 2010 will be held from Tuesday, September 14 2010 to Friday, September 17 2010 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour.

The conference is open to: psychiatrists, psycotherapists, medical practitioners, nurses, counsellors, social workers, occupational therapists and other mental health workers.

The Australian Alumni Awards are an annual award scheme designed to recognise outstanding talent, achievements and contributions made to Indonesia by Australian Alumni living and working in Indonesia today. Nominations for awards can be made by members of the general public in Indonesia and Australia including Alumni, governement, education institutions, industry and business.
