CAN is all about that CAN do attitude! We believe that together we CAN do, CAN link and CAN achieve all that we desire. This is a network of ex-cooperative program students and current industry partners who wish to form a strong and supportive community that can further develop its members both personally and professionally. CAN is a collaborative network that links organisations and individuals for mutually beneficial outcomes.

Coop Alumni Network (CAN) Function - 2009

This bi-annual event featured prominent guest speaker, Ben Reeves, the CEO of the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) who spoke about the Global Financial Crisis and how it will affect recent graduates. Held at the University of Western Sydney, Parramatta, on Wednesday, 27 May 2009 the function was a big success. You can now view speaker Ben Reeves PowerPoint from the night.

Coop Alumni Network (CAN) Function

Fifty students and graduates gathered on November 25, 2008 to discover how to find a professional mentor. Co-hosted by Deloitte and Careers & Cooperative Education, the event was held at Deloitte’s office in Circular Quay. Kathryn Collins, analyst for Deloitte and former Careers & Cooperative Education Intern, spoke with attendees who then had an opportunity to network, explore mentoring relationships and programs and ask questions to the industry panel.
