- The Whitlam Institute within the University of Western Sydney together with the UWS Outreach Campus in Lithgow is convening a forum in Lithgow on 22 August 2013.
This forum is the first in the 'Discover UWS' series of free public lectures leading up to the opening of the Lithgow campus. UWS College hosts the series in partnership with UWS research Institutes and Centres.
The key presenter for this forum is The Hon. Margaret Wilson DCNZM who will be in Australia as a guest of the Whitlam Institute.
The trend towards precarious work is increasing globally. The forum will look at this trend in Australia and New Zealand and discuss some of the impacts of this trend on local communities and what can be done to provide more access to employment standards.Speakers: Professor Margaret Wilson
