OPC – Coming to your campus

Connect Fitness – no-contract memberships

Want to join a gym but don’t like the idea of committing to a contract?

Do you work at home?

Working at home is great if you have access to all the software you use in your daily role at the office. If you work at home, you may be pleased to hear that full-time UWS staff members are able to access Microsoft and Adobe software at significantly reduced prices. Travel update

UWS has recently secured the services of CustomerCare™, an Australian-based company which will provide worldwide assistance to staff and students when they travel internationally as part of their official University-related business or study.

The service includes 24-hour travel information and medical assistance and a travel tracker will send SMS alerts to people travelling to a country with an elevated medical, travel and security alert. You will also have access to an extensive global network of medical professionals and services.

Connect, Collaborate, Celebrate

The Professional Staff Conference is a great opportunity for professional staff to share some of their achievements and experiences with colleagues. This year, the conference’s theme is Connect, Collaborate, Celebrate, focusing on what is valued most about being a UWS staff member: coming together with the colleagues, students and communities we work within; collaborating to meet shared objectives; and taking the time to celebrate achievements.
