Occasional Child Care
You asked for the ability to access casual child care, so SSAF funding has been allocated towards the new Occasional Child Care initiative - exclusively for UWS students!
Occasional child care is now available as a trial on the Hawkesbury, Kingswood and Campbelltown campuses. Should the trial prove successful, it is expected that occasional child care will be available on all campuses in 2014.
This means if something comes up and you need your child to be looked after for a few hours or for the day, you can contact the Hawkesbury, Kingswood and Campbelltown child care centres and request an occasional care place.
Occasional care is $10 per hour, minimum two hours.
If eligible you can claim the government Child Care Benefit for this occasional child care through the Family Assistance Office.
