UWS Early Learning Penrith Child Care Centre

Centre Philosophy

At UWS Early Learning Penrith Child Care Centre we believe that children learn from a variety of experiences from the surrounding environment, including the home, our Centre and the community. As such, we have a strong commitment to provide an environment that excels in the provision of a quality early childhood service.

Our image of the child is one that sees the child as a rich, powerful, strong and confident individual. Each child is a very important person who should be respected. We aim to provide an educational program which is based on each child's level of development, interests, needs and cultural background.

At UWS Early Learning Penrith, we have a strong commitment to create an environment that is welcoming and nurturing of each child and their family. We believe that it is important for parents to contribute and participate in the programs established at the Centre.

We recognise staff job satisfaction is essential to the provision of a quality early childhood service. Through an understanding of accountability we aim to build a positive, fruitful relationship with all participants in the life of the Centre: children, parents and staff.
