Safety and Security

Security aim to provide assistance and a safe and secure campus environment for all staff, students and visitors. You can help by reporting any incidents such as theft, assault, damage to property or any other suspicious activity.

Be aware of your environment, lock your vehicles and keep your valuables with you or out of sight at all times.

Campus Security Escort Service

Security provide escort services where requested.

If you are concerned about your safety at any time, contact the security office on site to request an escort to or from your vehicle, class or office.

Security will require your exact location and you will need to wait for the security officer to arrive.

First Aid

Emergency first aid service for all campuses is provided by UWS security. Every UWS security officer has a current certified first aid certificate.

In a first aid emergency call ext 2300 for all campuses.

In a non-emergency situation call the Security Office on your campus.

Lost and Found

Security on each campus keeps a register of lost and found items. Lost property is kept for up to three months, with the exception of valuables which are normally handed over to the local police after about 24 hours.

Contact security if you have lost something or found something you believe to be lost.
