Message from the University Librarian

The Library is the major provider of high quality scholarly information resources and services to the UWS community, and takes advantage of its global network of suppliers to source information resources with an increasing preference for those in electronic format.

Complementary to the increase in electronic resources, the Library offers a range of information services designed to provide a more flexible response to the diverse needs of the Library's clients and assist in furthering excellence in educational scholarship.

A focus on collection development, the introduction of best practice and benchmarking, increased interaction with academic staff regarding course planning and information support, and an overriding aim to provide service to all users means that the Library applies the highest professional standards in "bringing knowledge to life" across the University.

We welcome comments, suggestions, and feedback from clients, including those experiencing problems and requiring assistance in accessing our services.
