Capital Works and Facilities
Over the July 2013 intersession break, Capital Works and Facilities activities will increase on each campus as part of an ongoing initiative to, whenever possible, minimise potential impact on students and staff by scheduling works outside peak study periods.
Following on from the pilot of the Blended Learning initiative in flat-floor teaching spaces on Bankstown campus (in Building 20), Campbelltown campus (in Building 10) and Parramatta south campus (in Building EB) earlier this year, all the flat-floor teaching spaces on each campus have been reviewed to assess if those rooms could potentially be converted to collaborative learning spaces. CW&F is now in the process of aligning the potential conversions with our future work packages and Information Technology Services’ program of works in order to schedule future projects.
To find out what CW&F activities have been scheduled for completion on your campus in July and for more information on scheduled maintenance activities, recently completed projects, and the Blended Learning initiative, visit the Current Projects page.
