Current CW&F projects on Campbelltown campus
New three-storey addition to building 24

To meet future teaching requirements and additional student load, a new three-storey anatomy facility is being designed for the School of Science and Health and the School of Medicine on the Campbelltown campus. The new facility will have shared ‘back-of–house’ functions, such as refrigerated cadaver storage, embalming and dissection areas for the University’s Body Donor Program, as well as teaching laboratories, thus serving the distinct needs of both Schools.
This new facility will replace the single-storey section of building 24 that is currently occupied by the Uniclinic, linking the flanking multi-storey sections—the original 4-storey northern section completed in 1996 and the 3-storey southern ‘Allied Health Extension’ completed in 2011.
The development application for this project was lodged with the Campbelltown City Council in early April 2013. The tender documentation is progressing with the view of going to tender in early September. The construction works are scheduled to commence in late November 2013.
Scheduled completion date: 30 January 2015
