Construction of new student residences and common room facility

New student residence on Bankstown campus

In 2012, three three-storey student accommodation blocks (194 beds) were constructed in the south-west corner of the Bankstown campus. Each unit has communal lounge and kitchen areas, and either five bedrooms with shared toilets and showers or single studios with own ensuite and kitchenette.

Pedestrian pathways, common facilities and recreational areas were strategically placed to connect the new accommodation with the original accommodation. Direct vehicle access was also provided from Ashford Avenue on the western boundary of the campus.
