Dr Harreveld is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Education at Central Queensland University. She researches and teaches in the field of professional adult and vocational education. At the intersections of education, training and work, her field of expertise includes:

• innovations in curriculum and pedagogy
• multi-level leadership
• cultural and linguistic diversity
• workforce transitions
• socio-economically aligned policies and practices in education and training.
