Work Experience

Don’t wait for opportunities to come to you - create one for yourself. You can find both the DIY Work Experience Guide(opens in a new window) and online Student Insurance Request Form(opens in a new window) on CareerHub(opens in a new window)by logging in to with your Student ID and password.

Please note: Careers & Cooperative Education is able to provide insurance only for unpaid, degree-relevant work placements with volunteer, not-for-profit and government organisations. The 2009 Fair Work Act currently restricts unpaid work experience which is not a course requirement and/or within for-profit organisation.

If your work experience or placement is a course requirement you will need to arrange insurance with your School.
