Schools Reference Group
Schools Engagement Reference Group
The external Reference Group will include representation from the spectrum of the school sector in Greater Western Sydney and will be chaired by the senior UWS officer with primary responsibility for Engagement. It will meet twice a year and also provide advice and assistance out-of-session.
Terms of Reference
Responsibilities of the Schools Engagement Reference Group include:
- Providing strategic advice and guidance to assist in implementation of the UWS Schools Strategic Plan 2011-13;
- Contributing to the development and implementation of annual Action Plans;
- Advising on emerging issues, trends and developments affecting schools in Greater Western Sydney;
- Facilitating UWS/school sector relationships and partnerships, and promoting UWS/schools engagement; and
- Monitoring progress in implementation of the Strategic and Action Plans, and participating in review of the plans.
