The University of Western Sydney (UWS) honours women in Greater Western Sydney and formally recognises their contribution to the development of the region.
Now in its eighth year, the award continues to grow and succeeds in showcasing the diversity and strength of women in Greater Western Sydney.
The awards are presented at the University’s annual celebration of International Women’s Day which will be held this year on Friday 2 March, 2012.
Each year, nominees are drawn from a variety of backgrounds including education, health services, local industry, volunteering, environmental groups, government and non-government organisations.
