Dr. Peter Karl (PK) Jonason

Biography

I took the long road to get to where I am now in the literal and figurative sense. I started out studying Political Science and Communication Sciences (UConn) to to become a lawyer. Then during graduate school (UConn) I stumbled upon psychology as the field for me. After getting my Ph.D. (NMSU), I worked at two universities in the USA. Then I moved here to UWS and will get to teach and research my interests.

Areas of Research / Teaching Expertise

I am a social-personality psychologist who takes an evolutionary approach to personality, individual differences, mating behavior, and sex differences. I also find it highly informative to do research on nonhuman primates.
