Dr Florence McCarthy
Dr Florence McCarthy obtained her undergraduate degree in history from the University of California, Berkeley, before going on to complete her masters and PhD in sociology at Michigan State University. She has worked extensively in the USA as well as in Asia and Australia to establish effective learning programs and undertake research. Her research interests include service learning, participation rates and equity and researching the experiences of refugee students.
