How to apply for a HDR place at CPPE

Step 1: Find Out More About CPPE

Take a look at our researchers, research programs and research projects to see whether your interests correspond with our work.

Step 2: Apply to CPPE

If you are interested in completing a research degree at CPPE, please send the following information to the CPPE Higher Degree Research (HDR) Coordinator (cppehdr@uws.edu.au):

  • a copy of your CV (detailing your research experience, if applicable)
  • a 250-word research proposal
  • a cover letter/email outlining which research program your proposed project corresponds to
  • a contact email address and phone number

The CPPE HDR Committee will assess you application, and if your research proposal and experience correspond with the research focus of CPPE you will be offered a place in our HDR program and assigned an academic to supervise your research project. Now that you have been offered a place at CPPE, you need to secure a place at UWS.

Step 3: Apply for a Place at UWS

Future research candidates should consult the UWS guidelines for applicants. There is no specific deadline for research degree applications, although scholarships do have deadlines. Please note that domestic applications are submitted online, and international applications are submitted through the International Student Office.
