Enrol in Summer session 2012 from 11am 24 October 2011. This page will give you all essential information on enrolling and fees.

If you want to enrol in units offered by the School of Law, go to the Summer Law page for all your unit, enrolment and fee  information.

Please note a maximum of two units can be taken in this session.

Monday, 24 October 2011 Enrolment opens for Long Summer and Summer session.
Monday, 5 December 2011 Long Summer teaching period commences. Some units may start before or after this date so please check the unit lists carefully for additional information.
Monday, 2 January 2012 Summer teaching period commences. Some units may start before or after this date so please check the unit lists carefully for additional information.
Friday, 13 January 2012 Census date for Long Summer.
Friday, 20 January 2012 Census date for Summer.
Sunday, 19 February 2012 Teaching period for both Long Summer and Summer sessions finish.
Tuesday, 21 Feburary 2012 Summer units can apply towards your April 2012 graduation if your school gets results in before this date. This can’t be guaranteed.

How to enrol

Enrolment for Long Summer and Summer session units in 2012 is available for current UWS students through MySR only. Enrolment opens at 11am Monday 24 October 2011. The Long Summer and Summer session timetables will be available on PlatformWeb from Monday, October 24 2011. For all long Summer units you will need to check the note area of the timetable for December classes. Units may start on different dates, so check the unit details on the Summer units page carefully and contact the Unit Coordinator listed beside each unit, if you have any questions.

If you wish to study units in Summer Session that are not on your home campus you do not require a Rule Waiver form. A Rule Waiver form is however still required for pre/co-requisite rules and for adding units after Week 2 of session. All Rule Waivers will need to be submitted online via E-Forms. More information is available on the Online forms page.

Summer session units can only apply toward April 2012 graduation if the relevant School finalises your results by 21 February 2012. This cannot be guaranteed.

Invoicing

Invoices for Summer session can be accessed from December via your online electronic Statement of Account (eSOA) in MySR. To find this, log into MySR and click Statement of Account on the left of the screen and then select Summer Session in the drop down box.

An email will be sent to your student email account notifying you when your invoice is available. For a demonstration on how to access the eSOA please see the Statement of Account page .

Fees for local students in their award courses will be at the usual 2012 Commonwealth Supported Contribution rates for the enrolled units. International students’ fees will be at the published 2012 rates for their course.

Non UWS students

If you are not a current UWS student, you can study units in Summer session either as a Non-Award or Cross-Institutional student. Current UWS students will be granted priority placement as some units have limited places available. To apply, please complete your application via the UWS Application Portal.
