Surveys and feedback

We’re always looking for feedback from students to improve the way we do things. UWS often runs different surveys to get feedback. Surveys currently open to students are listed below.

Some surveys are open to all students, while some are only sent to a smaller, sample group of students. If you are selected to complete a targeted survey, an email will be sent to your MyMail account.

University Experience Survey (UES)

The University Experience Survey (UES) is an initiative of the Australian Government to help ensure ongoing improvement in the quality of learning and teaching in Australian universities. The UES is an online survey run by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), an independent and not-for-profit national research organisation.

If you’ve been selected to participate in the survey, ACER will have sent you an email to your MyMail account (via MyUWS), which includes a link to the online survey. The survey is now open until the end of August 2012.

The survey is voluntary, but we strongly encourage you to participate. Responses are private and confidential.

This survey focuses on aspects of the student experience linked with learning and development outcomes. For the first time is being run in full across the tertiary education sector.

Student Support Services evaluation survey

Student Support Services (SSS) is the name given to the area of the University that provides a range of services designed to support UWS students. This includes the Counselling Service, Disability Service, Student Welfare Service, Student Equity, Multifaith Chaplaincy, Orientation and Transition programs and Student Representation and Participation. Our services are free to all UWS students and available on all UWS campuses.

SSS are looking at ways to improve their services and want students’ feedback on things like what you know about our services and if you’re satisfied with them.

The survey is only open to sample of students and is completely anonymous and confidential.

Check your MyMail account (via MyUWS) to see if you've been selected to complete this survey.
