Have your say on SSAF funding priorities

UWS wants to ensure that Student Service and Amenities Fee (SSAF) funds are used for initiatives that will give students the most benefit. In 2012, we asked you to tell us what services and amenities you want and we will continue to use your feedback to determine SSAF fund spending in 2013 and beyond.

How is SSAF funding spent at UWS?

SSAF funding at UWS is allocated in two pots; centrally held SSAF funds which support ongoing student services and amenities and funds for new or enhanced services managed by PVC (Students).

The funding allocated towards new or enhanced services is split into five categories (or funding priorities), including funds for Student Representative structures, long term strategic projects and a bidding process via student and staff funding proposals. You can find out more about the funding priorities on the funding priorities webpage.

You can find out how 2012 SSAF funding was spent on the 2012 SSAF funded projects and support services webpage.

More information on the bidding process is available at the bottom of this page.

We feel you are entitled to know where SSAF funds have been spent as soon as possible. Please see the allocated funding for new or enhanced services in 2013 below.
