PASSwrite Registration

PASSwrite is a new program offering weekly 1.5 hour sessions to help students develop their academic writing in a peer-led informal learning environment. Each PASSwrite session, facilitated by a successful, experienced student will include: giving and receiving feedback on writing, strategies to understand readings related to assignments and practising writing. You will have the opportunity to share insights and clarify understandings around academic reading and writing. Currently, PASSwrite is being offered to Humanities and Business students only. Please note, this program is best suited to students who need extra assistance with English language and academic literacy.

Groups are capped at 10 students to ensure there is time for individual feedback on writing. Since places are limited, you will be asked to commit to attending at least 8 PASSwrite sessions over the semester. This will also ensure you can get the maximum benefit from the program.

Sessions will commence the third week of teaching and will run on Bankstown, Kingswood and Parramatta campuses, subject to the availability of the facilitator and a minimum number of attendees.

The timetable is below. Please indicate your first and second preference for which session you would like to attend on the registration form. Should your first preference be full, you will be advised and offered your second preference.
