Equity Buddies Network

The Equity Buddies Network caters to students from Afghanistan, Somalia, Southern Sudan, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Iraq, Burma and Libya. The program runs at Bankstown campus and sees a network of students from diverse backgrounds come together for the mutual sharing of academic and social support.

Are you from one of the above countries? Would you like to network with students from a range of other cultural backgrounds at Bankstown campus?

If so, complete the Equity Buddies Network registration form.

UWS has won a grant to establish an Equity Buddies Network at Bankstown campus as there are substantial numbers of young people from diverse backgrounds currently enrolled at UWS. The network is to be made up of students like you, doing similar courses to you, so you will be involved in the mutual sharing of academic and social support.

There are a number of facilitators available to assist students with their involvement in the program.

You may simply join the network at Bankstown campus or you may wish to enrol in the elective unit Experiential Learning in Communities (101874) that can work hand in hand with the network.
