Sexual health

One in 10 sexually active young Australians say they did not use any form of contraception the last time they had sex, which has resulted in an alarming increase in the number of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) reported by young people. Contraceptives offer effective protection from unwanted pregnancy and some will help protect you against STIs - so it's important to know what is best to help you stay safe.

You can get free condoms from the UWS Welfare office on your campus as well as information about sexual health.

Sexual Health Awareness Day

UWS Sexual Health Awareness Day is on Monday 28 May to raise awareness about sexual health issues. There will be information on contraceptives, pregnancy and STIs, giveaways and free condoms. While you're there, pick up a bite to eat as well!

Come along and join us at Union Square, Parramatta Campus on Monday 28 May 2012 between the hours of 11am and 1pm.

Safe sex... no regrets!
