Steps for International students

To enrol online with MyStudentRecords (MySR), you must have accepted your offer (satisfying all conditions), paid your student fees for the first session and received your Confirmation of Enrolment.

There is specific enrolment information for International students in the Enrolment for international students [PDF, 30Kb] (opens in a new window) flyer.

You need to accept your offer and follow the instructions in your letter of offer.

If you have received your Confirmation of Enrolment and paid your first session's fees, please activate your MyUWSAccount and enrol using MySR before you come to Orientation and your My Course Planning session.

Setting up your MyUWSAccount

You should have already accepted your offer to UWS and paid your first session's tuition fees.  After your payment, we will send you a Confirmation of Enrolment notice which includes your UWS student ID.

You’ll need this number to activate your MyUWSAccount.

Your MyUWSAccount is a secure environment providing access through MyUWS to your free student email account, Platform Web, vUWS and MySR.

We send important information about your enrolment to your student email account, not by post, so it is important that you check it regularly every day if you can and at least twice a week.
You must activate your account before you can proceed.

If you’re using MySR from home, you must make sure that you have Javascript installed and that you have disabled any popup blockers before you login to MySR. The MySR help page has more information about how to do this.

Your timetable

You are responsible for accessing and checking the teaching session timetable information to work out where and when units are being offered. You will not receive any kind of hard copy timetable from Academic staff.

The online timetable in PlatformWeb allows you to see what lecture and tutorial times are available. It is a good idea to check this information as part of your unit selection research, as it will display lectures, tutorials and classes that you need to attend as part of your enrolment.

When you have enrolled in your units, make a list of when you want to attend lectures and tutorials so you will be ready when Tutorial Registration opens.

Tutorial Registration

Most units have options for tutorials and classes, and you need to register to attend these. Tutorial Registration is another online process separate to enrolment. You must be enrolled in your units before Tutorial Registration commences. Each school has a different opening time for Tutorial Registration. Places in certain tutorials can be in high demand and quite competitive. The earlier you register, the more choice of times and days you may have.

Instructions on how to register are available online.
