SGSM run specialised My Course Planning (MCP) and Orientation sessions for their local and International students SGSM course in Quarter 3 2013, you are invited to attend these sessions on 28 June 2013. Classes start 1 July 2013.

Orientation and My Course Planning sessions

Orientation and My Course Planning sessions for SGSM students are happening on Friday, 28 June 2013 at the post-graduate lounge, Building EB, level 2 Parramatta campus.

There are a number of events scheduled throughout the day. Some are compulsory and all are recommended. Read the schedule below for details.

International My Course Plannling (compulsory)

The UWS International Student Advisor (ISA) will discuss matters regarding your responsibilities and requirements as an International student. This session is compulsory for International students.
4.00pm

Campus tour

Find out where the important places are on campus – Library, Bookshop, International Office, Student Central and more.
4.30pm

Course briefings (My Course Planning - local and International students)

Meet your Academic Course Advisor for information relating to your course. Find out all about being a student at UWS: classes, workshops, textbooks, timetables parking, student email and more.
6.00pm

Orientation evening

Meet the SGSM Client Services Team – your first point of contact
See a vUWS Demonstration, get a briefing from the Library and find out what SGSM M&M Mentors and Mates is all about.

Special Guest Speaker: A former student will share their UWS Postgraduate experience and how Postgraduate study has helped their career.
7.00 - 7.30pm

Networking drinks with SGSM

Enjoy some finger food and a drink with the SGSM team, some of your academics and the SGSM M&M Mentors and Mates – current students who want to help you have the best experience possible at UWS.
