The Lucy Mentoring Program is an innovative leadership program with a primary focus on undergraduate women in university studying business, finance, accounting and law. The Program aims to inspire, motivate and educate women about the opportunities available for employment and leadership in the private and public sectors. This is being achieved by establishing relationships between students and mentors who are senior working professionals. The objectives are to:
Eligible students will be invited to an Applicants’ Meeting, an evening meeting late in April on Parramatta Campus
The successful applicants will be notified by the end of April and will meet early May at an evening meeting on Parramatta Campus for the Mentee Workshop
Students and mentors meet for Session 1, a lunch time meeting at Women’s College, Sydney University in the second half of May
Between Session 1 and Session 2 students will undertake some 35 hours of work-based activities (WBA) with their mentor to get an insight into her daily work life
Early August all students from UWS and Sydney Uni join for the Mentee Debrief, over lunch on Parramatta Campus
All mentors and students meet for Session 2, an afternoon to early evening event in Sydney CBD towards the end of August
