Biography

Over the last twenty years I have worked in a range of educational settings (with primary, secondary & tertiary Indigenous and non -Indigenous students) primarily as an Indigenous ‘expert’ and have for the most part worked in areas where my ‘Indigenousness’ has been called upon to create curriculum, resources and support to teachers, Indigenous workers and students. More recently my role as a UWS academic has allowed me to contribute as a researcher to a selection of large institutional reports on boys education, successful transition to school for Indigenous children, early intervention strategies with children with disabilities and most recently around student engagement and the teachers for a Fair Go project with the NSW DET.
