Workshop Proposal Submission Form

Social Ecology Symposium 2013
"The Expanding Universe of Social Ecology"

18 - 19 April 2013

The aims of the April 2013 symposium are to take stock of our successes, to learn from the achievements of our graduates and, most importantly, to renew and re-imagine the Social Ecology agenda in light of recent developments and pressing needs for social change to achieve global and local sustainability. We invite you to join with us to help us reaffirm and redefine the Social Ecology project to play a leading role in promoting a sustainable society and responding to challenges ahead.

Proposals are invited for workshops that complement the symposium themes. Please provide a brief synopsis of up to 150 words that outlines your proposed workshop. Preference will be given to collaborative workshops and presentations that clearly address and enhance the symposium goal of re-envisioning the project of Social Ecology.

Please note: In order to be able to include a variety of workshops in the symposium program the time allocated for each workshop is restricted to 40 minutes.

Please be sure to address the criteria when submitting your proposal:

  1. Clear aims demonstrate contribution to renewing the Social Ecology project
  2. Provides for interactive engagement with participants
  3. Outcomes are clearly stated and achievable within 40 minute workshop format

The closing date for workshop submissions is  25 March 2013. In order to be considered for inclusion in the program all those proposing workshops must have registered and paid for their attendance.
