Staff with Disabilities

UWS is committed to creating an equitable and inclusive employment environment for staff with disabilities.

Staff with disabilities have the right to:

 Students with Disabilities

The Disability Service Unit of Student Support Services provides advice and support services to students with disabilities. More information

The Disability Service also provides advice to teaching staff who work with students with disabilities. More information (Requires Staff login).

National Disability Coordination Officer Program (NDCO)

UWS is funded by the Federal Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations to establish and run the National Disability Coordination Officer Program in three Western Sydney regions.

The main role of NDCO positions is to improve and coordinate education, training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities who have left school.
