Community Dinners
As part of the Year of Success through Diversity, Equity and Diversity will host three dinners in Greater Western Sydney (GWS) to celebrate the Vietnamese, Chinese and Indian communities. The main objective of the dinners is to strengthen the link between UWS and these communities as well as provide an opportunity for cultural exchange between UWS and the targeted Culturally And Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities.
The dinners will provide an opportunity for community members to meet key people from UWS, find out what UWS has to offer and why UWS is the university of choice for GWS. It is also an opportunity for UWS staff and students to learn about the Vietnamese, Chinese and Indian culture and community in GWS.
The dinners will be held in a location relevant to each community. Invitations will be made to key individuals from UWS and the community, as well as being open to UWS staff and students and the relevant communities.
For more information about the dinners please contact Tatiana Lozano, Manager, Education, Equity and Diversity on 9678 7370 or t.lozano@uws.edu.au.
