The aims of the Year of Success through Diversity are to

  • Increase awareness of the value of the diversity within UWS and promote understanding and cohesion
  • Increase support for diversity initiatives
  • Promote integration of diversity in all University operations
  • Highlight successful diversity programs currently operating at UWS
  • Provide a positive counter to racism and promote harmony
  • Provide an opportunity to look at ways that we can best harness the benefits of the diversity of our student and staff
  • Strengthen relationships with culturally and linguistically diverse communities in Greater Western Sydney and provide an opportunity for cultural exchange
