Where are the Women Professors?
Hosted by the Vice Chancellor Professor Janice Reid AM, with special guest speaker, Professor Marian Baird this Seminar will discuss issues of gender equity in higher education with a focus on academic women and increasing the number of women professors.

Marian Baird is Professor of Employment Relations in the University of Sydney Business School and Research Coordinator for the Discipline of Work and Organisational Studies. She is Director of the Women and Work Research Group, co-editor of the Journal of Industrial Relations and on the editorial board of the Australian Bulletin of Labour and the international journal, Community, Work and Family. Marian is also a Fellow of the University of Sydney Senate and is on the Women’s College Council.
