UWS recognises the importance of professional and career development for our staff.

The Internal Job Exchange program provides staff with the opportunity to broaden their experience and further their knowledge of University business and operations outside their usual work area. Staff can challenge themselves in a new environment, meet new people, further their organisational knowledge and bring a new perspective back to their existing role.

You are eligible to apply for a job exchange if you meet the following criteria:

  • General staff
  • Completion of a minimum of 12 months of continuous service

Part-time employees who have completed a minimum of the equivalent of 12 months of continuous service may apply. However an exchange would only be possible if another employee working the same fractional profile was also seeking an exchange.

If you are eligible and are interested in participating in an internal job exchange, please discuss the program with your supervisor and submit an expression of interest for the next round of the Internal Job Exchange.
