Biography
Dr Kath Peters is a Senior Lecturer, the Deputy Director of Postgraduate Studies, and the Head of Program for the Master of Nursing (Clinical Leadership) for Hong Kong. Kath has experience in a range of clinical areas such as intensive care, mental health, drug and alcohol, medical, surgical, orthopaedic trauma, brain injury, and aged care nursing. She was awarded a PhD in 2006 and is currently actively involved in research. Kath is an active peer-reviewer for several national and international nursing journals and her current research interests include: Women’s and Family Health and Workforce Issues. Kath teaches in a range of clinical and research units in undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs. She has co-supervised two PhD and mulitple BN(Honours) students to completion and is now providing principal supervision for PhD and BN(Hons) students.
