Dr Shantala Mohan

Biography


Dr Shantala Mohan (PhD, MPH, MBBS) is currently Senior Research Officer at the Clinical Nursing Research Unit, Nepean Hospital (SWAHS/UWS). She completed her PhD from UWS, College of Health & Science in 2007. Her PhD thesis was titled: "Coronary Heart Disease and Migrant Asian Indians in Australia: Experiences, Health Knowledge, Beliefs and Behaviours." She has a keen interest in migrant health issues and cultural aspects of illness and risk perception.
