What is the UWS Parent Information Evening?

The UWS Parent Information Evening is held after school and work hours and is a gathering of parents, guardians, students and University staff members. Parents and guardians are able to talk one on one with University staff about the UWS experience and learn the opportunities available to their children.

Why attend the UWS Parent Information Evening?

At the Parent Information Evening, there will be presentations that will answer

  • How does my son/daughter apply?
  • What happens if they don't get the UAI to get in?
  • What is the UWS Triple Advantage?
  • Why study at UWS?
  • How much does it cost to go to Uni?
  • What scholarships are available?

Tailor your evening by selecting from a range of breakout sessions on scholarships, leadership opportunities, advanced courses and Indigenous education or participate in a Question and Answer panel with UWS staff and students.

Who is invited to the UWS Parent Information Evening?

Parents and guardians of senior school-aged students are invited to attend. Senior students are invited to attend with their parents and guardians.

When and where is the UWS Parent Information Evening?

There will be two UWS Parent Information Evening's held in 2009:

  • Tuesday, 30 June 2009 from 6.30pm till 8.00pm - Campbelltown Campus
    [Narellan Road, Campbelltown. Building 21 Lecture Theatre 5 and Foyer]
  • Thursday, 9 July 2009 from 6.30pm till 8.00 pm - Parramatta Campus [Corner of James Ruse Drive and Victoria Road, Rydalmere. Building EA Lecture Theatre 1 and Foyer]

Registration is essential and can be completed online through the Parent Information Evening Registration Form.
