Graduate Diploma in Professional Computing

The one year Graduate Diploma in Professional Computing is designed to enable graduates from para-professional computing or information technology bachelor degrees to upgrade their qualifications to a professional level. By successfully completing this Diploma, you will be eligible for admission to the Australian Computer Society (ACS) (opens in a new window) at professional level. You will also be eligible for admission to postgraduate computing and information technology courses at a master level.

The Graduate Diploma extends skills, knowledge and experience in the key areas of programming, systems analysis and design, data communications and networking, and internet application design and implementation. It is specially designed for students who have completed a bachelor degree, with combinatorial components in computing and other disciplines to upgrade to a qualification at full professional level in computing and IT. UWS is one of the few universities in Australia to offer such a flexible course.
