» Information for new students - how to enrol!
What does it mean once you've filled out your enrolment papers and you've enrolled in your units? You’re officially a UWS student!
MyUWS provides access to many UWS services, so you might want to bookmark the site. Click on the different links to familiarise yourself with the different applications you will use during your enrolment and studies at UWS.
You can use MyStudentRecords (MySR) to check your enrolment details and update your personal details if necessary. You have until the census date of your teaching session to vary your program; take a leave of absence or resign. You can use MySR to drop units until the census date and add units in the first two weeks of the session.
You may need to register for lectures and tutorials online using PlatformWeb. More information about registering for tutorials is available at the Tutorial Registration page. We recommend that you do this soon after Tutorial Registration opens, to have as much choice of lectures and tutorials as possible.
MyUWS also provides access to UWS student email. We send important information about your enrolment, including outstanding fees, critical dates and service interruption details, to your student email account. You must check it often to make sure that you are aware of any issues affecting your enrolment. And remember, we can only respond to your emails if you have emailed us using your student email account.
