About the UWS Hawkesbury Foundation

Established in 1982, the UWS Hawkesbury Foundation is led by a group of people who have a strong connection with the Hawkesbury Campus, passionate to see the University and its community advance into the future in partnership.

>Through sustained partnerships between the University, local industries, community groups and alumni, the UWS Hawkesbury Foundation aims to develop financial and physical support for the UWS Hawkesbury Campus and its community.

>By raising funds to support educational and regional development, the UWS Hawkesbury Foundation supports important educational projects such as scholarships, prizes, research, teaching positions, academic programs and teaching facilities.

Scholarships and Prizes

Scholarships and prizes at the University of Western Sydney represent support, opportunity and growth. UWS Scholarships and Prizes Program acknowledge academic and personal achievements, encouraging students to strive for excellence and fulfil their potential.  By funding scholarships and prizes at UWS, we are empowering students to embark on their future with a professional and innovative approach.

Bequests and Endowments

By establishing a bequest or endowment with the UWS Hawkesbury Foundation, you are allowing the University to confidently plan for its future by providing a reliable source of funding. For more information about establishing a bequest or endowment, please contact the UWS Development Office.

Hawkesbury Commemorative Walk Appeal

The Hawkesbury Commemorative Walk Appeal aims to commemorate Hawkesbury graduates and staff. All funds raised through the appeal will be contributed to the UWS Scholarships and Prizes program, creating opportunities and encouragement for our students.  Donors have the opportunity to support the appeal by donating $250, which will secure an engraved paver in the Stable Square Walk.

HAC Lecture Theatre Appeal

The HAC Lecture Theatre Appeal was established to support the provision of student resources and facilities on the Hawkesbury Campus. By donating $100 towards the appeal, we will honour your gift by listing your name on the Honour Board in the HAC Lecture Theatre.

Motel Room Plaques

The Hawkesbury Conference Centre and Motel invites graduates from the Hawkesbury Agricultural College Old Boys Union, now referred to as the Hawkesbury Alumni Chapter, to support student scholarships by donating $1000 to the appeal. The generosity of our donors will be recognised through the provision of a named plaque in one of the Hawkesbury Conference Centres Motel rooms. The donor's name will also be listed on the Honour Board located at the Hawkesbury Conference Centre.
