Volunteering

Your Time Can Make a Difference

The gift of your time is an invaluable gift to the University of Western Sydney. There are a variety of rewarding and challenging projects which will allow you to directly impact the lives of students, staff and friends of the University.

Whether you are a student, graduate, business professional or someone with an interest in the University, your motivation to make a difference will be embraced so that your time will make a meaningful contribution to UWS.

There are a number of exciting opportunities to contribute to University projects or programs. Examples include assisting with University events, sharing your experience with current and potential students, speaking at University conferences and events or perhaps applying your professional experience through pro bono work.

Volunteering is not only a practical way to get involved with the University and its mission, but it may also be a great opportunity to develop your knowledge and experience in a certain area.

Your Time – Bringing Knowledge to Life

“As a graduate of UWS, I feel that volunteering is a great way to give something back. Whether it’s helping out with something simple or offering your expertise when it is needed, I know that my time is really making a difference to the lives of many staff and students at UWS,” Said John Nguyen, a UWS Graduate and volunteer.

“It’s also a great way of meeting new people or experiencing something you haven’t come across yet in your career. If you want to help the University make a difference, volunteering is a great place to start.”

If you would like to volunteer your time it is suggested that you contact the UWS Development Office to discuss upcoming opportunities.
