Suggested Wording for Bequests

We highly recommend that you use a solicitor or trustee company or other professional advice when making your Will. This will ensure that your will is correctly drawn. The University of Western Sydney is not in a position to provide legal or financial advice in the making of your will.

Possible wording could include the following:

'I give to University of Western Sydney Foundation, of the University of Western Sydney, Great Western Highway, Werrington NSW 2753, the whole of my Estate [OR .... % of my Estate, the residue of my Estate; OR the sum of $.... AND/OR the following property.....] free of all duties and deductions, to be applied for

(either)

the purposes of the University in such manner as the Board of Trustees of the University, or its successors, may determine.

or

the following purpose [insert scholarship, capital purposes, operating costs, specific department etc]'
