Through sustained partnerships between the University, the community and the world of business, the UWS Foundation aims to support educational and regional development by raising funds for important projects such as scholarships, prizes, research, teaching positions, academic programs and teaching facilities.

UWS welcomes involvement in contributing to a number of teaching and learning programs at UWS.
- A Professorial Chair is an investment in excellence. It is one of the most effective mechanisms for stimulating advancements in scholarship and research, for the long-term benefit of the community.
- Reserach Fellowships provide the opportunity for early career researchers to further develop and refine their research skills and experience. A fellowship will generally be linked to a particular research project in line with the specialist skills of the fellow and the priorities of the institution and partners.
- Lectureships ensure our students and future researchers are able to access high quality academics to help develop their full potential. Lectureships also provide opportunities for our academics to advance their skills and expertise and contribute significantly to their discipline through both teaching and research.

The UWS Art Collection consists of a diverse range of artworks in a variety of media, including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, photographs and works on paper by 20th-century Australian artists, primarily from the 1960s to the present.
The collection also consists of works by local artists from the Hawkesbury, Macarthur and Nepean regions, as well as works by former and current staff and students of UWS.
UWS is keen to build its art collection through acquisitions, including purchases and donations, and loans in keeping with the Collection goals and policy.

The UWS Library is the primary scholarly information service provider of the University. Through its seven campus-based libraries the Library provides and promotes access to those information resources and services integral to the scholarly endeavours of our students, staff and researchers, as well as to other members of the community and region.
