Graduation Giving

The Graduation Gift program provides recent graduates with an opportunity to ‘give as you go’ by pledging support for students in need today and in future.

We want all students to reach their graduation day but some UWS students face many challenges along the way.

• Almost 7,500 UWS students are from disadvantaged areas
• Around 50% are the first in their family to go to university
• About 1 in 3 undergraduate students work more than 20 hours a week while studying

With staff, alumni and graduation gifts, more than $20,000 has been committed already to support 5 new scholarships for students experiencing hardship. Read the students' stories here.
