UWS Staff Giving - Conditions
All deductions, including the One-Off Donations, will commence from the next available pay after receipt of the completed UWS Staff Giving Donation Form.
The minimum deduction per fortnight is $2. You may select one or more charitable organisations.
By completing the UWS Staff Giving Donation form you request and authorise the University of Western Sydney to deduct from your salary the amount/s as indicated on the form. The University will NOT issue any receipt in respect of the donation but details of your annual contributions will be recorded on your payment summary.
Personal details of UWS Staff Giving donors cannot be released to participating external charities without your express, written permission.
UWS Staff Giving deductions will be made from your pre-tax pay, so that you may receive any tax benefit immediately. Small fortnightly donations may not have an impact on your fortnightly tax withheld. This advice is provided as general guidance only. Once a deduction has been made it cannot be recovered. Donations made under this arrangement are made voluntarily and unconditionally and you will not benefit from the donation other than the benefit of the deduction itself.
Should you wish to change or cease your donation arrangement, you will need to notify Staffing Services, Office of People and Culture in writing using the UWS Staff Giving Donation form.
