Monique Luck

MoniqueMonique Luck, resident of Camden South, is in her first year of the Bachelor of Nursing at the UWS Campbelltown campus.

Monique is a single mum of four children and has returned to study after 22 years. She is a baker by trade, but she has always wanted to be a nurse and wants to show her children that if you work hard enough, you can achieve your dreams.

The scholarship has already helped Monique buy textbooks and related material for the upcoming semester, which has been a big financial help.

She is looking forward to starting her second semester and has a positive message for other mature age students out there.

‘If you are mature age, and you have always wanted to study at university, just do it. If I can do it, anyone can do it, and don’t let anything get in the way.’
