Pay for graduation
Paying your fees is essentially the RSVP for your graduation ceremony.
If you have not paid by the due date
- Graduation in attendance – it is assumed you are not attending and therefore a seat will not be reserved for you at your ceremony. You will also graduate in absentia.
- Graduation in absentia – your documents will not be mailed to you until payment has been made.
Students who pay on time will be posted their documentation in the first mail out after ceremonies conclude.
Due to the large number of in absentia graduands, documents for students who make payment after the cut-off date are posted after the first mail out has concluded which may be one month after the conclusion of the graduation ceremonies.
Graduate in attendance
If you have applied to graduate in attendance you have two options.
1. Attending graduation (hire regalia)
The cost is $120 and this includes:
- Regalia hire
- Four guest tickets
- Refreshments for yourself and your four guests
Your testamur and AHEGS will be provided to you at your ceremony.
2. Attending graduation (purchase regalia)
This payment option allows you to select the items you wish to purchase (trencher, hood and gown).
You also need to manually select the $55 compulsory attendance fee which includes:
- Four guest tickets
- Refreshments for yourself and your four guests
Your testamur and AHEGS will be provided to you at your ceremony.
Important
Ensure you have selected all correct regalia pieces as well as the attendance fee. Failure to order all pieces of regalia may lead to disappointment on the day. Orders are packed prior to graduations. We do not carry large amounts of stock to accommodate any incorrect orders.

Graduate in absentia (in absence)
The fee covers the cost of posting your testamur and AHEGS. The fee is different for postage within Australia and for postage outside Australia.
The graduate in absentia fees are:
- $30 for postage within Australia
- $45 for postage outside Australia
Important
Please be aware that graduating in absentia still takes place at the scheduled graduation round and The Chancellor confers you in your absence. Your documents are posted after the round is complete. You will not receive them prior to the graduation ceremonies.
