Biography

I am currently the Head of Program for the Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) and prior to this the Course Adviser for the same course. Prior to joining UWS, I was working in industry as a graphic designer and web designer in the online learning field. Clients included the Australian Stock Exchange and Mitsui Australia. I was also involved with a private education provider, developing curricula for multimedia courses.
As an academic, my principle interests are in curriculum development and teaching and learning, particularly the first year experience in Higher Education. Other areas of interest are interface design, interactivity and the potential of social networking within education.
