Lecturer Yoshiko Howard

Biography

Yoshiko has taught all levels of Japanese units, supervised various areas in MA dissertations and co-supervised a Ph D candidate. She has developed some undergraduate units and MA in Literary Translation. She translated some war documents for Associate Professor Fran de Groen.

Areas of Research / Teaching Expertise

Yoshiko's current interest is representations of evil and their potential salvation in Japanese contemporary literature, in particular, works of Endo Shusaku.
