HHALTER Team
The research team is a multidisciplinary group of government and academic researchers with experience in Hendra virus research and research with horse owners in relation to the 2007 outbreak of equine influenza.
This project is a research collaboration between:
- University of Western Sydney School of Medicine - Dr Mel Taylor

- Queensland Centre for Emerging Infectious Diseases - Nina Kung (opens in a new window) and Hume Field (opens in a new window)
- NSW Department of Primary Industries - Barbara Moloney (opens in a new window) and Therese Wright
The project will also employ a RIRDC PhD Scholar at UWS and a part-time post doctorate researcher at the University of Sydney.
